Dodge Truck
The Dodge brothers who started the Dodge Company earned a reputation for producing durable and high quality vehicles. They did not build an actual truck until WWI and it was a panel van not a pickup. In 1921 after the death of both Dodge brothers, Graham Brothers started selling 1.5 ton pickups through Dodge dealers. The model had a Graham body and Dodge parts. In 1928 Chrysler acquired the Dodge Brothers Company.
In 1933 Dodge trucks abandoned their own engines and used Chrysler Corporation engines across the board. In 1935 Dodge entered the large truck arena. 1981 was the first year that Doge produced a truck that sported the Ram name. The Ram was redesigned in 2002 to give it an even bolder look, with fully boxed side rails and more interior space. The Dodge Ram Pickup is still going strong today and offers style, performance and luxury all wrapped up in a bold designed package.
