EverDrive’s Technology Named Finalist for Award: Midlothian, VA
based EverDrive, LLC has been named a finalist for the
Infineon Technologies’s Technology Innovation Award presented by the
Greater Richmond Technology Council. The award is presented each year
at the Council’s Awards Gala attended by more than 600 leaders of the Richmond
area’s technology and business community. It recognizes technologies that are
likely to make significant contributions to consumers, business or other
sectors of our economy. EverDrive’s systems developed to link the sources of
recycled auto parts with a greatly expanded customer based through existing
retailers was identified as a technology that has the potential to dramatically
alter and expand the $6 billion used auto parts market.
EverDrive Forms Preferred Vendor Program: Citing the importance
of building a strong base of recycler’s to support the company’s growth,
EverDrive’s VP of Operations, Michael Puccinelli, announced that the company
was developing a program to identify and recruit the industry’s best recyclers.
The program would offer its members preferred status as sources of supply for
EverDrive and its customers. It would also allow members to interact directly
with EverDrive’s purchasing function to reduce the sales expense and
